Work On The Core
Starting by working on your core is the best idea, and to do this, a great exercise is the vertical leg crunch. To do, you just lie face up on the floor and lift your legs straight up with your knees crossed. Then you contract your abs to lift your shoulder blades off the floor as though you are lifting your chest towards your feet.
The next step is to keep your legs in a fixed position, this is very important, and you want to imagine bringing your belly button towards your spine at the top of the movement. Lower and repeat for a couple sets, and you should feel your abdominal muscles being worked out.
You will be successful at female muscle bodybuilding as long as you put forth the time and effort required to achieve the results you will need to be involved with this sport. Set goals and work towards them. Realize that you will get frustrated with your progress at times. This and all the other emotions you will deal with are just part of the game.
